Job Title: Director Communications and Knowledge Management
Duties
The Director Communications & Knowledge Management will lead the overall communications strategy of AHNI Nigeria with the Nigerian government and other local and international decision makers, donors, partners and key stakeholders.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
BS/BA in Communication or related field, and 9-11 years relevant experience in international development programs with 7-9 years supervisory expedience.
MS/MA in Communication or related field, and 7-9 years relevant experience in international development programs, with 5-7 years supervisory experience.
PhD, MD or equivalent degree with 5-7 years relevant experience in international development programs and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
Job Title: State Technical Officer
Department: Medical Services
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the zonal Technical Officer (Medical Services), the Technical Officer will provide technical and programmatic support to implement high quality care and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS, TB, Prevention of Mother to Child transmission of HIV/AIDS, reproductive health/family planning (RH/FP) and integrated medical services at the state and local government levels.
Qualifications and Requirements
MB.BS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 1 to 3 years relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings.
Possession of an MPH or post graduate degree in a related field is an advantage.
Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
