A reputable building & civil engineering construction company based in lekki, lagos has vacancies for qualified land surveyors.
requisite qualifications and experience
- must possess a minimum of bsc or hnd (2nd class/upper credit) in land surveying/civil engineering
- must have a minimum of 5 years post nysc working experience
- coordinate survey activity request by the management
- knowledge of the principles, practices, techniques, equipment (e.g. total station), laws, regulations and legal aspects of land and engineering surveying.
- knowledge of materials, method and techniques of road, sanitary sewer, and water distribution system construction.
- ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plots, and technical reports.
- ability to operate and maintain high technology surveying instruments (e.g. total station)
- ability to supervise the work of subordinate technical employees.
- skill in the use of a microcomputer and the associated programs and applications necessary for successful job performance
- ability to certify official maps and plots
- ability to prepare reports and perform other related duties as required
- must be ready to work long hours and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
