The U.S. Mission in Quito, Ecuador is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Security Escort/ Admin Clerk in the Facilities Management Section.
POSITION: SECURITY ESCORT/ ADMIN CLERK
Top Secret security clearance
Full-performance level: FSN-4 / FP-AA
OPENING PERIOD: Until filled, first review of applications April 15, 2019 (17H00)
WORK HOURS: Part time 20 hours
SALARY: Full Performance level FP-AA US$25,871
(based on full-time, full performance salary; to be prorated for actual hours worked)
*Final grade/step for NORs will be determined by Washington.

DURATION OF APPOINTMENT: Position is One year appointment.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret Security clearance is required.
START DATE: Position is open now. The successful applicant should be available to enter on duty within 30 days of being notified that s/he has been selected and cleared for employment.

BASIC DUTIES OF POSITION:
Performs all duties of escort, by monitoring and escorting of uncleared personnel into controlled access areas and other locations within mission facilities and grounds. Has management reporting responsibilities for the Global Maintenance Management System (GMMS) and Tringa Real Estate Environmental System (TREES). Assists Facility Manager with administrative duties as required. The position is either full time, part time, or on an as needed basis, some after-hours, weekend and holiday work may be required. Also serves as escort for classified pouches arriving at post incumbent must be a U.S. Citizen, eligible for a Top Secret security clearance.
