About THSN Programme

The Refugee Start-Up is a project dedicated to giving refugees the skills and the resources to set up their own businesses and create jobs.

The Refugee Start-up Programme offers tailored educational workshops, technical trainings and financial support to refugee entrepreneurs. It is focused on recently arrived asylum seekers, with brilliant business acumen, that have a high chance of being granted asylum or subsidiary protection.

Turning the refugee narrative on its head, SPARK will give refugee entrepreneurs the skills and tools to set up businesses and create jobs. We hope to increase start-up businesses amongst this population and reduce the number of failed businesses of this group by providing support services.

The programmes within it will advise, protect and support refugee’s businesses; so that refugees may become self-sufficient and contribute to the communities they now live in.
