Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Nutrition Officer  to join our team in Wau, South Sudan

The Nutrition Officer is responsible for supervising the quality of the Outpatient Therapeutic Programme (OTP) under the nutrition programme that is implemented through the OTP sites including community mobilisation, referral and quality of treatment for the severaly acute malnourished children (under- 5 years) as per the national/MC adapted Management of SAM guideline

The successful candidate will have:

Essential:

1. Secondary school diploma
2. At least two years field experience in nutrition programmes including work in OTPs
3. Strong background in training and capacity building
4. Ability to find solutions to complex problems in a challenging environment
5. Excellent planning and organisational skills
6. Good written and spoken English
7. Reasonable computer skills particularly Microsoft Office
8. Flexible, ability to work both as an individual and as a team member and under stress in what can be a harsh environment
9. A broad range of experience including logistics
10. Experience working in drug/commodity supply management
11. High level health and nutrition qualification
