For graduates of (university) studies and / or vocational training who are looking for entry into the field of humanitarian aid, we regularly offer a one-year career entry program. For the project assistants, we work in our headquarters in Cologne for the first six months and in one of our projects abroad for the second six months. Applications exist in the projects in Africa, Asia, Haiti and the Middle East.

You work in the preparation of applications as well as interim and final reports for public donors (AA, BMZ, ECHO, EuropeAid, etc.)
In each country of operations, you support project management in project management and project implementation, especially in administration, finance and procurement
Our requirements:
University or college degree
Proven knowledge and / or experience in emergency and EC-related topics
Experience abroad preferably in one of our partner countries through study or internship
Very good language skills in German, English and French
Safe handling of MS Office software, especially Excel
Identification with our goals as a Catholic organization
We offer a limited-term, full-time contract for 12 months with a monthly salary of approximately € 1,850 gross. The contract is drawn up in accordance with the guidelines of the German Caritas Association (AVR). We strive for further cooperation and look forward to continuing to work with you in one of our locations abroad, even after the entry-level job program.

Wir bieten einen befristeten Vollzeitvertrag über 12 Monate mit einer monatlichen Vergütung von ca. 1.850,- EUR brutto.
