Purpose
Act as the daily operational point of contact in the end market including managing the end to end Logistics Operations (Both Primary and Secondary) and Account Management including implementation of Supply Chain strategy and tactics.
Principal Accountabilities
Business
• Manages inbound supply as first point of contact and works with SGPH to resolve any supply issues
• Manages Logistics team & performance for primary & secondary as defined in RTM model
• Support delivery of EM cycle plans
• Support and implement Global SC Strategy and improvement initiatives at local level
• Provide tactical and operational direction for the local logistics team
Leadership
• As a member of the Business Unit/EM Operations Leadership Team, contribute to the formulation / implementation of overall Regional above market strategy and be jointly responsible for delivering strategies & targets.
• Act as a Leader to ensure sharing knowledge in the team for the purpose of adopting and developing global and regional processes and best practices.
Management
•Manages and controls End Market Logistics Supply Chain Financials
•Manages logistics services within the local network
Relationship
•Understand and agree the requirements of the end market served in order to continue delivering the value in Supply Chain
•Manage the relationship with local logistics service providers.
Innovation
•Ensure that the local logistics infrastructure, processes and organization can support the local business strategy
•Optimise logistics within Area/EM’s Route to Market
