DRC Bangladesh is currently hiring a number of Camp Managerment Team Leads and Officers.
The CCCM Team Lead and Officers is responsible to Assist The Camp Manager in the coordination of assistance and services at camp level. This entails building effective collaboration with a diversity of stakeholders, ranging from community leadership structures in the IDP site, humanitarian partners, host communities and local authorities. The CCCM Team Lead reports to the CCCM Manager, maintains lateral communication and coordination with the DRC Protection and FSL staff, and supervises Camp management Officer and assistants.

The CCCM Team Lead reports to the CCCM Manager, maintains lateral communication and coordination with the DRC Protection and FSL staff, and supervises Camp management Officer and assistants.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and ensure effective functioning of Refugee leadership committees;
- Ensure camp population participates in decision making processes and that camp coordination forums are representative and inclusive, for example, concerns of men, women, boys, girls and groups with specific needs are heard by maintaining and developing participation and governance mechanisms, for instance, organise open dialogue with the camp population as well as host communities;
- Monitor all activities of humanitarian partners in camps in order to avoid duplication and to identify gaps in service provision, and sharing those gaps with relevant forums, e.g. government authorities, humanitarian partners, etc.;
- Ensure that NFI distributions are conducted in an accessible and accountable manner, with beneficiaries distribution list made available;
- Liaise daily with DRC sectors’ staff to maximize synergies between the sectors and Camp management activities;
- Implement and monitor Camp management monthly work plan, and submit a comprehensive weekly sector report to the CCCM Manager;
- Ensure the reporting of the population tracking to relevant stakeholders
- Work with the community to ensure site planning is undertaken in accordance with their needs and safety/public health concerns
- Deliver both on-the-job and formal training to Assistants, ensuring understanding of Code of conduct, human rights, community based approach and distribution methodology;
- Contribute to Sphere standards implementation in all Camp management activities;
- Ensure compliance with safety SOPs, MOSS, etc., for example, keeping abreast of relevant documentation and procedures;
- Any other tasks required by the CCCM Manager relevant to implementation of CCCM activities
About you
For Team Lead
- 2 years of experience in INGOs, specifically in complex emergency contexts.
- Substantial experience operating in a refugee camp environment, preferably undertaking Camp Coordination activities.
- Experience in community services,
- Ability to work with large, multi-cultural people in a changing environment.
For Officer
- 1 years’ experience working with an INGO
- Experience in community services,
