Action Against Hunger is looking for an Humanitarian access manager in Ethiopia for 6 months (asap)

As Humanitarian access manager, you’ll support the Country Director in defining the humanitarian access strategy, and streamlining security in all aspects of AAH programs in Ethiopia, support the operational management of security for all team members, capacity building

in particular, you’ll have 5 missions :

• Security management
• Humanitarian Access
• Management of the security team
• Awareness & training

It’s a mobile position: more or less 2 week per base twice– could be one or 2 days more for big bases, and one or two less for small bases. There will be 6 bases.

Are you the good candidate?

You need to have an experience in INGO ( at least 2 years in Program follow up..) + Experience in Horn of Africa is a plus, Ethiopia best.

Confirmed in evaluating the risks in field missions, experience in setting up and developing security management tools.(2 years)

Experience in conducting training on security environment, procedures and rules in the past.

English (oral and written) is professional.
