Responsibilities

• Support in establish and improve Cost and Price Models/Templates/Database for Tender and Contract purposes
• Support in establishing and developing Standard Price Books and models for Subsea Services (Personnel, Rental Tools, Spare Parts result of feedback.
• Develop people & organization: Promote cross-unit collaboration and common goals. Foster an environment that promotes continuous improvement and quality deliveries. • Collecting cost input from the various service departments and regional entities and ensure that the commercial quality in our tenders are aligned with the managements strategies.
• Ensure compliance of FMC Commercial policy with respect to crucial issues including:
o Validity of Prices
o Currency Risk
o Liquidity
o Withholding and Retention
o Financial Audit
o Removal of Key Personnel
o Tax and Duty
o Bonds and Guarantees
o Buyback
o Insurance
o In.Country presence
• Ensure that cost and price input to Tenders has addressed scope and is assessed based on general and special conditions for the tender
• Responsible for qualifications and exceptions to Commercial Conditions, or creating new Commercial Conditions
• Commercial risk evaluation of the tender
• Responsible that all Commercial terms as well as Prices, Rates and percentages presented to costumer are according to Management approval.
• Anticipate all commercial and operational risk and mitigate the risk in the tender proposal and Clarification phase.
• HSE: Protect health and safety of employees and environment, live by SQDC.

Main Tasks

• Contribute with strategic input related to commercial consept to Tenders strategies
• Close cooperation with relevant EPC Tender Department, Product Groups & Delivery Units to deliver quality tenders and quotations
• Support Delivery with input to Market and Business Analysis
• Provide support to AFE’s, Business case studies, strategies and market analysis/strategies upon request
• Training and development of new Commercial Tender Advisors
Units / Stakeholders throughout the execution phase with quotation of new services regulated under the existing contract
• Ensure consistent pricing of services to Delivery units for quotations included in Project Call-offs and/or Contract Amendments, i.e. not covered by existing Contracts
• Provide support to business case studies (investment analysis), strategies and market analysis/strategies upon request from Management
• Review Invitation to Tender (ITT) Package and attend to commercial terms and conditions
• Analyse effect and risk of commercial terms
• Perform Commercial and contractual concept review together with Legal
• Assistance related to Commercial evaluation of Tenders and quotations,and establishment of strategies
• Coordinate and review cost input from other departments
•Prepare Cost Analysis, Prices and Project budgets for Tenders and quotations.
• Prepare Tenderer Clarifications and Exceptions
• Ensure that Prices are aligned with the Commercial Conditions provided in Tender.
• Prepare and present overall Cost, Price, Margin, Commercial Risk in Management presentation package for:
o Cost reviews
o Price reviews
o Corporate reviews
• Write commercial documents to be included in final Tender
• Ensure Commercial assumptions is captured in quotations
• Negotiation prior to Contract Award, align tendered prices with clarifications
• Assist in handover and start up phase of Project Execution
• Contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of Price Models, processes, templates, instructions and best practises for Pricing of Tenders and Contracts
• Contribute to the development of databases and tools for Cost-and Pricing purposes
• Maintenance and Improvement of Standard Pricebooks for Subsea Services
o Personnel Services
o Rental Tools
o MMRS Services
• Assist Business Development group

Requirements

Recommended formal education:
• MSc/PhD Finance/Engineering
Required experience:
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, beneficial with database development experience
• Ability to work structured and organized and with multiple tasks at the same time
• Fluent in English language, both oral and verbally
• Well developed Commercial understanding and Market knowledge
