Job Description
- Prepares Tender documents and bill of quantities for both project and maintenance works
- Prepares tender analysis for projects, installations and maintenance works to be carried out
- Prepares cost estimates (irrespective of amount) for proposed projects and maintenance works
- Prepares budget and accruals for each year
- Prepares interim valuation as regards on-going projects and also prepares final accounts on completed projects
- Management of project crisis due to complaints that arise in the course of project
- Serves as relationship manager in maintaining the company’s clientele with purchasing department
- Day or day vetting of contractor quotations
- The job holder is charged with the responsibility of building up and standardizing of rates for project estimation and execution
- The QS is ultimately accountable to the company ensuring smooth operations of the company’s major and minor projects at minimal cost exposure and in compliance with the company’s policies and quality standard
Candidate profile
· BSc. Or HND Quantity Survey
· Registration with Professional Body (NIQS) is necessary but not compulsory
· Computer Literacy, Construction Management experience, project management and must be proficient in the use of Microsoft excel
