Job description
To participate to the OpCo strategy and architecture design for the end-to-end Radio Network and ensure robust and high quality and optimum capacity to support various services on the 2G, 3G networks. The role also involves KPI monitoring and analysis as well as capacity dimensioning and management.
The role will require a high degree of co-ordination with Central Technical team and strategic partners for governance of Radio Network operational activities and validation & evaluation of Radio network designs.
- Provide Radio network strategic and architecture planning, ensuring robustness, scalability, inter-operability and appropriate technology
- Dimensioning the RAN network according to the coverage, capacity and quality requirements from Airtel guideline and Marketing requirement.
- KPI governance and performance analysis for Radio Network optimization recommendations
- Accurate & timely CAPEX and OPEX budget planning for Radio network
- Evaluate and approve site plan prepared by Strategic Partner
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelors in Engineering/Technology (Electronics & Communication).
- 3-5 years of versatile experience in Operations, Optimization and Planning of Radio Networks.
- Deep understanding of latest technological trends in Radio Network, including GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSxPA, LTE etc.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Organizational & Motivational Skills
- Strong communication and Interpersonal skills.
