ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) is a not for profit, non-governmental entity registered with the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission. It commenced operations in Nigeria in 1999, while the programmatic operations commenced in January 2000 through a Country Agreement signed with the National Planning Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
ActionAid is an anti-poverty agency that prioritises works with the poor and excluded; promoting values and commitment in civil society, institutions and governments with the aim of achieving structural changes in order to eradicate injustices and poverty in the world. ActionAid Nigeria is an affiliate of ActionAid International, an International Non-Governmental organisation registered in The Netherlands with its headquarters in Johannesburg South Africa. ActionAid International works in more than 40 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
AAN is inviting applications from qualified companies/organisations to bid for the revitalization and redesign of ActionAid Nigeria’s Community Sponsorship website.
Interested companies are to send in quote(s) and demo/sample design page to based on the following features and descriptions;
- As described in attached document (instruction 2 on webpage design)
- Feel and Features as in http://www.actionaid.org.uk/sponsor-a-child and http://www.actionaid.org.uk/donate
- An occasional campaign page as in http://www.charitywater.org/
- Payment gateway integration for the following gateway vendors; Etranzact, Remita, Interswitch webpay, Paypal
- A Mini-Mobile site that can load on Mobile PDAs
- Donor/Supporter Management System Design (This monitors and keeps database records of donor information )
- Content Management System approach (CMS) at the back end to manage every section of the site
- 1st Year free support and a signed 2 years Maintenance contract after the expiration of the free support period
