Job description
Represent Pernod Ricard Nigeria & MMPJ (Martel, G.H.Mumm, Perrier-Jouët), as brand ambassador. Support the brand team in planning, tasting,  implementation, and evaluation of wine and spirits field / brand development activities including: image building; product introduction; identification of commercial opportunities for the brand

Key Tasks: (including decision making authority as agreed with line manager)

Brand education

Educate PR sales force ensuring comprehensive understanding of the categories, brand’s specificities & key differentiating qualities
In cooperation with sales force, mentor staff in key trade customers
Conduct tastings / education for groups of target consumers, opinion leaders and press
Increase share of mind for MMPJ brands amongst PR employees & key brand stakeholders
Business and Brand development

Build and manage relationship with selected key customers in order to deliver incremental business locally
Build database and nurture business to consumer and business to business contacts building loyalty, advocacy and sales.
Implement consumer and trade promotions in line with global guidelines
Coordinate clients/consumers/press visits to MMPJ Houses and MMPJ Brands representatives visits in market
PR support

In cooperation with Marketing and PR Departments, identify PR opportunities suitable for MMPJ brands in line with their communication platform
Ensure media coverage through brand representatives’ presence (Cellar master, MMPJ representatives, Pernod Ricard management) or self-involvement in appropriate cases
Advocacy

Develop relationships, liaise and influence key media, industry, distributor, trade and other organizations that can play an instrumental role in building brand reputation and advocacy of our brands
Explore opportunities amongst the high net worth individuals and their social set.
Reporting to Affiliate and Brand Owner

Report MMPJ brands and competitors monthly activities with recommendation
Be the eye and the ear of the market by analyzing trade/consumer insights
Follow Price analysis and sales performance within a defined competitive set
