We are currently recruiting Customer Service who has around Min 2 years of experience in UAE preferably or in the GCC, to join our team in Dubai.
Reporting to the Department Manager – CRM, The Customer Service coordinates and liaises on daily basis with customers and/or suppliers. He/she manages all aspects of the order process from point of receiving an order to final delivery within given timeline. He/she also services the customers through handling their queries and complaints.
As a key role in the organization, the Customer Service must display a capacity to uphold the values of Chalhoub Group: Respect – Fairness, Integrity, Humility, Excellence – Role Model, Commitment and Efficiency and Entrepreneurial Spirit – Leadership, Ingenuity and Team Spirit.
Main Responsibilities:
- IT Support
- Update and create new references for item and products
- Generate Sales Orders and Order acknowledgements (Performa Invoices to be sent to customers for approval)
- Generate delivery instructions and communicate them to relevant parties
- Maintain all relevant reports like stock reports, back orders reports, purchase prices of all the division’s brands, sales prices to clients, clients’ monthly stock and sales
- Manage backorders and update discontinued items with relevant replacement item
- Maintain the filing system/database of customers/suppliers consistent, up-to-date and as per audit standards’ requirement
- Customers
- Liaise on daily basis with the customers to initiate and follow up on Sales Orders
- Send order acknowledgement to the customers providing them with a proposed delivery date
- Handle and follow up on customers’ complaints, if any
- Review the returns of (Delisted/Damaged/Defected) products from the customers and take necessary action
- Follow-up on payments
- Suppliers
- Review inbound stock deliveries and plan customers’ orders accordingly
- Liaise on daily basis with the suppliers to confirm the company’s Purchase orders and follow up on delivery dates
- Meet with the supplier every two weeks to coordinate workflow
- Maintain harmony among customers/ suppliers and resolves grievances, if any
- Coordination
- Liaise on daily basis with Logistics and Warehouse (PSAS or supplier), for shipping schedules, shipping modes, ETA and ETD of both clients and suppliers’ orders
- Maintain shipment status database
- Meet periodically with the Marketing Executive to remain updated on new products and their availability
- Liaise with the Accounting Department on issues concerning advance payments from clients, credit notes or debit notes, general payments…etc.
- Confirm export prices and availability of stock through sales administrators
- Liaise with sales administrators/commercial team to ensure goods are packed/invoiced/documents legalised and delivered on time
For Traveller department
- Review

- Competitors list/update
- New Proposals
- Coordinate with Marketing for new prices and samples
- Prepare offers for the client
- Maintain Selections for sales onboard and concerned updated
- Analyse margins and cost ratios.
