Job Title: General Manager

Location: Port Harcourt

Job Type: Onshore

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• The General manger reports to the chairman & board of directors of Ecogas Energy Resources Limited.
• The principal responsibility of the general manager is to put in place policies and process that will ensure the company of customers, regulatory agencies, government and shareholders.
• Formulate strategies and policies to translate corporate vision to measurable actions.
• Drive implementations of corporation strategic plan to business and operational levels.
• Budgeting, budgetary controls and performance monitoring
• Ensure adequate safety policies and measures are in place and comply with regulatory authorities.
• Quality assurance, control and certification
• Business governance, assurance stakeholders engagements

Qualifications:

• Qualification include minimum of B.Sc in Engineering, Economics or any of the Social Sciences, Membership of professional bodies such as COREN , ICAN, Supply chain management, IPM etc. will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience with deep downstream oil and gas at management level are required.
• Candidate must be able to communicate in English language, have basic HSE competence including swimming certification, medical fitness and sound knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
