Our Client, a leader in the manufacturing of power tools. For their offices in Ghana, our client is looking to hire a hardworking, competent and proactive Regional Director to help with their operations.
ROLE PROFILE
Will be responsible for the regions within the rapidly developing African market. Act as a general manager who will build and lead a team to introduce and develop sales of power tool products and ensure that company outperforms the competition in all relevant segments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improve market positions across all PT(power tools) segments
- Collaborate with business developers to design and implement various distribution solutions using internal or 3rd party structures based on local demands.
- Develop and deploy regional sales strategies, processes and structures
- Achieve regional sales and budgetary targets, realize marketing & service goals
- Develop and deploy subordinate associate targets and goals
- Establish and maintain direct contact with customers
- Develop customers through customer relationship building and management
- Introduce and implement PT Sales Excellence principles
- Maintain oversight of the sales Department, formulating and implementing sales strategies to maximize or improve sales as needed.
- Lead the development of promotional concepts and programs
- Collaborate with other managers to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses
- Develop systems and checklists for events organisation and management to assure efficiency and value for company resources
- Monitor and ensure all events are executed successfully.
- Analyse events attendance and ensure reporting on events is carried out
- Recruit, hire, train and develop a motivated, professional and productive Sales Team
- Coach team members on product knowledge through product training on regular basis
