Prime International are pleased to announce the requisition of 12 experienced onshore Project Field Engineers, fabrication yard experience, West Africa.

There is also a possibility of work in Kazakhstan.
Exact work rotations are yet to be decided, but they are likely to be around 10/3.
12 months renewable contract.
All packages will be all found with a good standard of accommodation.

Job Descriptions is as follows.
Mission
▪ Manage/supervise fabrication and construction engineering activities, supporting production department, in defining best
solutions, to solve clashes, or other design inconsistencies, and interfacing with home offices project team and Client.
▪ Define/prepare the Subcontractors scope of work, for shop drawings development/issue.
▪ Supervise/coordinate development and issue of the shop drawings, fabrication procedures, fabrication and construction
sequences and method statement
Tasks
▪ Participate to Detail Engineering Phase for Construction related issues
▪ Prepare the Fabrication plan and identify the planning issues in terms of field engineering
▪ Prepare the erection/construction sequence/method statement▪ Define and prepare the subcontractor scope of work for
shop drawings development/issue
▪ Supervise/coordinate the preparation and the issue of the shop drawings
▪ Ensure the interfaces with the Construction team (HSE, Yard material management, Quality Control, Prefabrication and
Erection, Mechanical Completion, Welding Engineering and Commissioning and Start up) and assist as needed
▪ Participate to Risk Analysis
▪ Ensure interfaces with the Client Engineering department and/or Head Office Engineering department
▪ Manage site queries (including material substitution, if necessary), revert to the head office engineering team and/or Client
when needed for securing the technical answers
▪ Keep record of the changes/additions made to the documents as a result of construction and commissioning requirements
until the as-built drawings are prepared
▪ Check the conformity/congruence of technical documentation received from Head Office Engineering and/or Client making
it available to the Construction/Fabrication team
▪ Ensure the analysis of engineering, materials and construction non conformities encountered on site, assuring the involvement of the competent Head Office Engineering department and/or Client in the determination and approval of corrective action
▪ Analyse technical aspects of the feasibility of the construction work, providing information on the actual on-site availability of facilities, tools, documents, materials, etc.
▪ Coordinate engineering activities for site procurement
▪ Send, for approval, to the competent Head Office Engineering department and/or Client proposed design modifications
before carrying out the work
▪ Coordinate Field Specialist Engineer activities in relation with changes to technical documents, feasibility technical analysis,
non conformities, review and approval of test packages
▪ Ensure interface with vendor’s representatives together with the relevant Field Specialist Engineer or Discipline
Superintendent
▪ Collaborate with Construction Manager and material department to plan the material collection from warehouse, evaluating
the need to purchase in case of shortage
▪ Activate back charge notifications to vendors, within the area of responsibility
