The client urgently requires a new Health, Security and Environment (HSE) Manager, a seasoned professional with exceptional ability and grounded professional experience.
The position is based in Port Harcourt
Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing HSE leadership and facilitating development of HSE Vision, Strategy and Management System for sustained HSE good performance.
Job Objectives:
Formulating, Executing, supervising and coordinating office and field Safety programmes as well as ensuring HSE best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Draw up HSE programmes for the company and ensure implementation.
Ensure the implementation of the HSE policy of the company.
Train, educate and advise workers on safe system of work through concise job hazard analysis.
Carry out new employees HSE Orientation.
Ensure the certification of supplied or procured safety equipment to ensure compliance with ISO standard.
Attend NERC HSE forums and brief Management on HSE regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering .
PGD in safety Management
Post Graduate Degree is an added advantage
Minimum of 8years increasingly responsible (Safety) experience
ISPON or NEBOSH certification
