Job Description Purpose
Preparation of potential small-medium sized building and infrastructure projects
Supervision of an ongoing programme of outsourced minor project work including HSE, quality, time and cost performance.
Delivery of standard management and assurance for individual projects
Position Responsibilities
Work with the Hard Services Manager, liaising with the local business where appropriate to identify project requirements
Compile and maintain a programme of potential and actual projects, tracking progress through the project cycle
Liaison with Real Estate ‘Transactions & Projects’ function to arrange and satisfy appropriate governance and assurance for each project
Make arrangements with appointed project contractors for the management, administration and delivery of project HSE, quality, timeline and cost
Support the handover of project work to facility operations and maintenance including asset identification and maintenance planning
Liaison with SME’s for workplace and accommodation standards where appropriate (including Shell Connect and ‘Worker Welfare’)
Prepare building-related contract board submissions, including cost estimates and execution plans.
Support project procurement decision making
Measure service provider performance against set targets where applicable.
Oversee the preparation and handover of key documents including asset registers, as-built, layout drawings, schematics, diagrams, work process descriptions etc
Position Qualifications/Experience
University graduate with a minimum of BAC+3 in Engineering, Sciences and Social Sciences
Minimum of three (3) years proven experience of project planning, execution and controls within the facility management environment
Work experience in financial institutions
Fluency in French an advantage.
