Senior Programme Coordinator Fundraising and Grants Management: You will ensure that WaterAid Tanzania has the financial resources to deliver on its Country Strategy commitment. You will ensure that our fundraising strategies and practice exceed this ambition/goal. You will ensure that funding proposals comply with Tanzania developing best practice in Grants monitoring and evaluation plans.
Key Responsibilities:
You will help improve WaterAid Tanzania team’s fundraising skills, capacities and systems. Assist all teams in planning, writing and editing funding proposals to comply with WaterAid Tanzania fundraising guidelines and standards, paying particular attention to our accountabilities and ensuring that applications meet donor guidelines.
You will support to develop and implement a Fundraising and Grants strategy for the delivery of grants and compliance related information among WaterAid Tanzania funded projects.
Regularly monitor and document grant expenditures against grant funded activities to ensure compliance with donor regulations, specific terms and conditions of grant awards and any array of reporting requirements.
To be successful, you’ll need to have a bachelor’s degree in either a Business Administration with a Finance bias or a degree in marketing coupled with a post graduate diploma in public relations. 4 to 5 years experience with a proven track record of Grants management and prior experience with fundraising campaigns.
Programme Coordinator Grants Management and Compliance: In this role you will serve as the key advisor on all Grants and their management. You will provide support in facilitating, submitting, negotiation and management of grants contracts and Memorandum of Understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with WaterAid Tanzania minimum operating standards for grant management and implement processes for grant proposal development in the Country Programme, equitable to cost recovery, grants closes out and sub-grant management when required.
Work with Budget Holders and the Finance Team to monitor all grant budgets to ensure compliance with donor requirements; review budget realignments and Partner funds requests; and also monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with budgets.
Act as a central point of organisational expertise on finance compliance requirements, ensuring that relevant staffs of all directorates are informed of donor requirements; work closely with all directorates to ensure compliance.
To be successful, you’ll need to have a Bachelors’ Degree in either a Business Administration with a Finance bias or a degree in marketing coupled with a post graduate diploma in public relations. You will also have a minimum of 4 to 5 years proven experience track record of Grants management and prior experience with fundraising campaigns.
