Job Purpose:
To provide an independent and objective review of the efficiency of the company’s operations, including a review of the accuracy and reliability of the company’s accounting records and financial reports as well as a review of the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s risk management, control, and governance processes.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Review and evaluate internal procedures and supporting documentation to ensure that they provide an effective control system and to identify any weaknesses or risks.
Carry out audits and compliance testing to ensure that procedures are operating effectively with appropriate controls and recommend changes where necessary.
Provide information and assistance to managers and staff to enable them to comply with financial, statutory and CBB requirements.
Carry out in depth assessment of specific functions and processes to promote best value and recommend improvements.
Develop internal audit programs to ensure that all functions are subject to systematic review.
Develop and maintain new systems and procedures to assist managers and staff in complying with financial regulations and meeting their objectives.
Synchronize audit activities in coordination with external auditors to ensure proper audit coverage and exclusion of duplication of efforts.
Present all of his findings and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Conduct follow-up visits to make sure audit findings are resolved within reasonable time.
Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience::
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field of study.
Minimum five to seven years of operational experience preferably in the field of telecom and internet services.
