Description
Co-ordinates and executes factory plant preventive maintenance
Responsible for programming of programmable controllers in the factory
Initiate and supervise maintenance programmes and ensure they are executed in a safe manner
Ensure that mp2 [maintenance software] programs are executed and sign off
Ensure weekly reports are generated
Liaise and organise periodic in – service training of team members on issues arise from the job
Ensure operatives on factory floors are conversant with all operating instruction from instrumentation stand point
Responsible for the calibration of scales, weighers, pneumatic valves
Keep an update record of calibration schedule for the year
Keeps an inventory of scales half yearly and keep records
Ensure peak performance of all installed instrumentation on site
Ensure all coding machine are up and running
Ensure weekly TPM/SHE meetings are held
Ensure 5s, good housekeeping is adhered at all the time
Responsible for optimum performance of variable speed drives
Be abreast with logical fault finding and interpretation of circuit diagrams
Diagnose and troubleshoot fault with minimum supervision
Ensure status weekend jobs are generated
Be responsible for servicing and setup of Laboratory equipment
Qualification:
Electrical Engineering Technician Part 111 with minimum of three years practical working experience in an industrial environment
