Job Description
1- Oversea and manage the company’s accounting department
2- Supervise and train the team members to achieve set targets and to ensure an optimal performance within the department
3- Monitor compliance to internal regulations, procedures and GAAP requirements, in addition to ensuring conformity of books
to local, state and federal laws and regulations
4- Analyze and organize accounting processes to maximize reporting capabilities on a daily and monthly basis
5- Manage the cash movement cycle to ensure proper liquidity for all operations and branches
6- Develop systems to ensure integrity of financial data and lead the department efforts in combining trial balance data for
issuing financial statements
7- Prepare tax returns, work papers and supporting documents for examinations and audits
8- Reconcile intercompany and inter branch accounts, record all closing entries and analyze trial balance data
9- Maintain effective control over inventory records, assets, post-dated checks and other company assets
10- Assist in preparation of annual budget and control of product and period cost
Skills
-Ability to lead and motivate others
-Strong organizational skills and attention to details
-Ability to engage auditors and defend financial statements
-Good commend of product cost analysis, cost of goods calculations, and percentage of
completion
-Proficiency in preparing tax returns (VAT, income tax return, personnel taxes etc..)
-Experience in allocation of shared cost (cost centers and business units)
-Experience in controlling trial balance data and issuing financial statements
-Strong understanding of construction and trade businesses
Education
Bachelor degree in Business, Major Accounting, MBA is a plus
