The African Petroleum Producers’ Association (APPA) is a major and leading international organization that is serving as a platform of cooperation, collaboration and exchange of experiences between African Petroleum Producing Countries. It also aims at promoting common initiatives in terms of good policies and strategic management in all sectors of the Oil and Gas industry to help Member Countries to maximize their profits in the exploitation of the so call non-renewable resource.
APPA currently has 18-Member Countries from 8 Members at its creation, making Nigeria as one of the pioneer members. APPA Headquarters is located in Brazzaville, Congo.
APPA is currently recruiting for the position of :
Job Title: Executive Secretary
Job Location: Abuja
Job Functions:
– You will serves as the main link and coordinates activities between Member countries
– You will help with managing a staff of over 23 persons comprises of high rank office staff and Engineers from different nationalities
– As the Executive Secretary who are the principal executive administrator of the Association and shall also be responsible to the Council Of Ministers
Job Requirements:
. Minimum of University degree or Postgraduate in Economics, Law, Financial or a Petroleum Engineering degree
. Applicant should also be Mastery of IT-tools
. Minimum of 15 years experience
. Applicant should not be more than 40 years old

Remuneration:
– This is compare to salaries of international organizations for similar post and similar positions and this is also in line with the Salary scale and allowance applicable to APPA
