The Head, Environmental and Social Unit is responsible for overseeing the environmental performance of the organizations by developing, implementing and monitoring environmental strategies, policies and programs that promote sustainable development in line with the corporate strategy and statutory environmental requirements.
He carries out environmental audits and assessments, identifying and resolving environmental problems and ensures necessary changes are implemented.
Job Requirements
• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degrees and professional qualifications are optional but may accord advantage
• Minimum of 10 years experience with progressive responsibilities 5 of which should be in the management environmental functions
• Excellent analytical skill, communication and interpersonal relations.
