Job Purpose
To keep up with the rapid growth of both our Airbus and Boeing fleet, and to maintain the high standards set for its appearance, we need experienced Aircraft Painters to join our state of the art Emirates Engineering Aircraft Appearance Centre.
Positions for Aircraft Paint Professionals across different levels are available:
• Paint Controller
• Paint Technician
• Senior Paint Hall Mechanic
Emirates Engineering is the largest A380 maintenance centre in the world. With a state-of-the-art aircraft painting facility, the paint team uses the latest technology to restore the interior, components and exterior finish of aircrafts, while ensuring all tasks comply to international standards.
We will be conducting additional Open Days and Interviews based in Dubai and internationally throughout 2014.
With its state of the art aircraft paint facility, and latest equipment and technologies, the Emirates Engineering paint team are responsible for the total restoration of the interior, components and the exterior finish of an aircraft which includes, masking, de-painting and reapplying the finishing/polishing. Also included are the inspection of the tasks to make sure they comply to the standard of corporate image regarding aircraft exterior appearance in accordance with engineering work sheets, paint manufacturer’s data sheets and application of company livery from engineering drawings.
Qualifications & Experience
If you meet or exceed our minimum qualification, skills and knowledge criteria outlined below to be considered for a position in our Aircraft Appearance Centre.
Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent)
Paint Controller / Senior Paint Hall Mechanic: Must have served an apprenticeship with an airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation OR the equivalent formal Airforce training
Paint Mechanic: Must have prior paint / graphic artist experience
Must have a minimum of 2 years post training experience.
