Duties and Responsibilities
-Provide sound, reliable and effective legal services to the business units and
-Support departments of the company in their drive towards achieving set targets
– Render timely statutory returns and trading results to all regulatory authorities
-Assist in statutory meetings handles by the Company’s secretariat, such as Audit Committee, Board Committees,Extra Ordinary General and Annual General Meetings of the Company and keep minutes thereof
-Monitor and manage the Company’s litigation matters and real estate
-Draft and review Contracts/Agreements and Security Instruments
-Debt recovery and general legal advisory
Qualifications, Knowledge ,Skills and Experience
-LLB(Minimum of second class upper)
-BL
-LLM is an added advantage
-Post qualification experience : seven years cognate experience in legal practice
practice in the downstream sector of the Oil and Gas Industry will be an added advantage
-Sound/excellent knowledge in Admiralty/Maritime Law, Corporate Governance and Complaince
-Age : not more than 40 years old
