Job Summary Projects and Engineering Manager Swift Worldwide Resources are currently working on behalf of a Global Independent Operator based in their fantastic corporate offices in London. My client have a requirement for a strong team assistant to join their Commercial, planning and economics team assisting with day to day organising of diaries, travel and meeting set-ups. My client is a fast-moving organisation offering its employees the opportunity to play a key part in their activities and really influence business decisions as they continue to grow their operations across the globe. Responsibilities / Key Objectives • Accountable for day to day management and execution of brownfield engineering modifications, upgrades and debottlenecking projects including the construction and commissioning phases of such work in support of operational needs • Responsible for the technical integrity and functionality of the facilities design during all phases of the project inc concept and FEED studies • Ensure operability and maintainability coordinate activities with Operations, Well Engineering and other project representatives as necessary • Mentoring of Nationals within the Projects / Engineering team • Review engineering contractor’s progress reports and conduct weekly progress meetings. Monitor the engineering activities, budgets and schedules Requirements and Skills • Degree qualified and Chartered Engineer • Senior Engineer with 15 years+ experience • Strong preference for experience as a Project Manager or Engineering Manager/Team Leader with multi-discipline responsibility for Green/brownfield engineering projects • Experience with conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design in multidiscipline upstream projects • Experience of Construction, commissioning and start-up and operations • Skilled negotiator • Previous experience with FPSO projects Please contact Mike Charles for more information on this role and to discuss the client and package.
