Swift Worldwide Resources is looking for a Marine Technical Advisor to work on a 28×28 rotation in Angola, Africa.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be a full participant and be fully engaged in the Safety programs • Responsible for taking corrective action on non-conformities issued under the Safety Environmental Management System (SEMS)

• Oversee and assure the proper operation, maintenance and care of the Marine Facilities. This includes a clear understanding of the operation of liquefied gas loading arms and the loading arms for other petroleum products, berthing aids, navigational aids, quick release mooring hooks, ship-shore fiber optic links and other marine equipment as necessary

• The Marine Technical Advisor is expected to be available to investigate and correct identified technical issues at the Terminal

• Conduct regulatory advocacy for the client and in regards to the marine facilities equipment. Maintain relationships with marine equipment vendors. Be aware of industry forums on matters affecting the client’s marine equipment • Provide incident investigations support for any marine related equipment failure or incident. Familiar with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) principles

• Coordinate and provide technical/operational expertise for LNG ship/shore operability/compatibility, port information, and cargo systems compatibility for vessel

• Stays current with new marine facility technologies to keep the client current in this field • Provide leadership and expertise to solve complex LNG marine facilities problems and issues

• Provides work direction and technical training for less experienced team members and mentors Angolan nationals

• Marine Technical Advisor will interface with the appropriate departments for Technical/Safety issues

• Any other marine related activity as assigned by Marine Manager Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 10+ years of marine or offshore/shore-side terminal experience with applicable skills in tankers LNG/LPG, VLCC, FSO, FPSO, or shore-side terminal facilities. Gas experience desirable.

• Prior experience as a Chief Engineer, FPSO Maintenance Manager or Terminal Technical Advisor is desirable
