Job Description: Responsible for Hardware Integration – rack mounting of hardware as per Bill of Material. Responsible for Firmware/BIOS installation, RAID configuration, OS installation and OS hardware.
Job Functions:
- Coordination with OEMs & partners as and when needed
- Responsible for end to end closure of platform integration (Hardware/OS/DB/ Network) as per Comviva requirement.
- Responsible for creation of Solution build documents post deployment.
- Domain knowledge of at least one hardware OEM is highly desirable.
Experience:
3 years+ in enterprise server, storage, firewall, load balancer and networking appliances installation and configuration.
Requirements:
- Conversant with the process of System Integration/solutions
- Domain knowledge of atleast one hardware OEM/technology in the industry
- Working knowledge of creation of PIC, Deployment approach and Solution document
- Ability to comprehend and understand the customer requirements to create optimized solutions
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX and databases
- Hand on Exposure on Security Hardening
- Hands on exposure on Cluster technology
- Knowledge of storage technology. Installation and configuration of storage (Global OEM-EMC/Netapps, IBM and HP)
- Hand on exposure on known Backup Technology (Symantec, HP-DP)
- Installation and configuration knowledge of firewall/switches/router/load balancer.
- Comfortable in interacting with external vendors and internal customers.
