Roles/Responsibilities
¨ Implement project work plans and review as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
¨ Manage and evaluate project needs and timeframes
¨ Manage and monitor workflow within operations
¨ Recommend solutions and changes for improving service levels
¨ Ensure prompt and accurate completion of all implementation and work plans
¨ Research and resolve service issues and implement solutions
¨ Manage department performance through motivation, monitoring, and coaching
¨ Build internal and external relationships through exceptional problem solving, ownership and follow- through
¨ Model exemplary customer service behaviours
¨ Establish and consistently meet/exceed department service goals & objectives.
¨ Consistently meet/exceed partners service standards and act as the “voice of the employee”
¨ Accurately process operational data
Requirements
¨ An undergraduate degree in sciences’ with a minimum of 5 years progressive job experience in a relevant field
¨ Work experience in an NGO will be beneficial
¨ Should have local knowledge of Taraba State
¨ Indigene of Taraba state will be an added advantage
¨ IT literacy and able to handle electronic data
¨ Commercial awareness and numeracy
¨ problem-solving and decision-making skills plus the ability to think laterally while also offering creative solutions
¨ Credible commitment to international humanitarian or development work
¨ Technical knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the post.
¨ Proven ability to provide support, guidance and training to colleagues
¨ Communication and reporting skills (verbal and in writing).
¨ Experience of working in a cross-cultural environment and in insecure or complex environments.
¨ Ability to work to deadlines with good prioritisation and time management skills.
