Oxfam Novib is committed to ridding the world of poverty. We have a conviction that people are well capable of building a livelihood without poverty on their own, once given the chance to do so. Which is why we support local projects in developing countries, why we lobby governments and companies to take into account the interests of the poorest people, and why we campaign to involve Dutch men and women also in our work. We work together with other Oxfam affiliates to increase our impact on development issues.

Oxfam Novib s’est engagé à contribuer à un monde sans pauvreté. Nous avons la conviction que les gens sont capables de construire eux-mêmes une vie sans pauvreté s’ils ont la chance de le faire. C’est pourquoi nous soutenons des projets locaux dans les pays en développement et nous faisons du plaidoyer pour que les gouvernements et les sociétés civiles prennent en compte les intérêts des personnes les plus pauvres. Nous collaborons avec d’autres affiliés Oxfam pour accroître notre impact sur le développement.
