Main One Cable Company Limited (‘Main One’) was the first submarine cable company to offer open access, wholesale broadband capacity in West Africa. Job Tite: Sales/Accounts Manager
Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting Line: Reports to the Head, Sales

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:
The Sales/Accounts Managers will be responsible for the sale of wholesale capacity and broadband solutions and manage relationships with targeted accounts to drive increased network utilization. They will retain and grow current accounts in order to gain new market share in their given territory.

Other responsibilities include:

–>Manage relationships of specific accounts to drive increased network utilization.
–>Generate new business leads using existing network of contacts and industry knowledge.
–>Deliver sales presentations as may be required to high level decision makers.
–>Develop respective plans for aggressive achievement of high value sales in timely fashion.
–>Negotiate technical requirements and performance expectations with customer.
–>Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and business issues for accounts.
–>See to effective deployment and growth on the Main One network.
–>Perform other tasks as may be required.

Contacts:
You will be required to liaise on a day-to-day basis with other groups/departments: Service Delivery, Technical, Project Management, Marketing & Strategy, etc.

Qualifications and Competencies required:
–>Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferably business management or related field.
–>Experience in sale of technology or telecommunications products or services in a B2B model.
–>Excellent communication and presentation skills.
–>Excellent Customer Service.
–>Must also be able to identify customer needs and work with the Main One technical team to proffer appropriate solutions.
–>Must possess good relationship management and customer service skills.
–>Negotiation skills.
–>Problem solving.
–>Relationship Management.
–>Proficiency in MS Office Productivity Tools.
–>Experience in selling bandwidth capacity, Internet services products or telecommunications products.
–>Self-motivated and able to take ownership of the sales process and meet deliverables with minimal supervision
–>Positive ‘can do’ attitude and result oriented.
