Reports To: Director-Retail
Job Summary:
Plan, direct and co-ordinate retail operations in order to ensure consistent and qualitative service in addressing customers’ needs and achieving revenue objectives
Principal Functions:
Continuously review the Retail Operations unit activities, make recommendations for improvement and ensure implementation of approved improvement initiatives in order to enhance team performance
Plan and manage the human and material resources of the Retail Operations unit in order to optimize performance, sustain and increase morale and enhance productivity
Keep abreast of market trends, customer needs and competitor initiatives and devise strategies to optimally utilize market opportunities
Ensure ongoing identification of new revenue streams for the Retail business and provide inputs in the development process
Champion ongoing performance reviews of Etisalat Experience Centres and identify and recommend opportunities to optimize productivity and increase profitability
Foster and maintain strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (including customers, dealers and licencees)
Review value propositions tailored to meet specific sector/ segment needs within the Retail environment and present suggestions to the Director-Retail
Identify required resources, personnel and funding to achieve the Retail Operations strategy
Liaise with the HR function and Director-Retail to define optimal headcount and allocation plan for new and existing Experience Centres
Liaise with the HR function and Director-Retail to review incentive models as and when required
Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates’ performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives
Monitor and control the budgetary needs of the Retail Operations unit
Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Director-Retail
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director-Retail
Educational Requirements: First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Postgraduate/ professional qualification in a related field will be an advantage
Experience & Skills: Between eight (8) and twelve (12) years work experience, with at least most recent three (3) years in a supervisory role
