MANAGER, SITE BUILDING & MAINTENANCE REF: MSBM
Reporting to the Head –Technical Procurement.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Facilitates the procurement ,tendering and contracting processes for all goods and services required for site building and maintenance in line with Etisalat Nigeria’s procurement policies
Provides input in the update of procurement policies, processes and tenders for site building and maintenance in line with global best practices
Assists in continuous review of procurement activities with respect to the site building and maintenance, makes recommendations for improvement and implements approved initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team
Establishes and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, vendors, and contractors)
Liaises with Engineering function in fulfilling procurement requirements
Sources and investigates competent suppliers for inclusion in the approved vendor list
Conducts market seach as required in connection with availability and price of goods and services required for site building and maintenance.
Reviews proposals and tenders from relevant vendors ,and participates in vendor evaluation, selection and negotiation of contracts terms and prices with suppliers, vendors and contractors
Conducts periodic benchmark analyses on vendors/suppliers and obtainable prices, and makes relevant recommendations to the Head, Technically Procurement
Prepares /compiles agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Head, Technical Procurement
Performs any other duties assigned by the Head , Technical Procurement
Our Ideal Candidate should possess:
• A first degree in a relevant discipline
• Post-graduate /professional qualification(s) in a related field(an added advantage)
• Five(5) to nine (9) years relevant work experience, with at least three(3) years procurement experience in a supervisory role
